Our lead practitioner is Dr Christian Allard (Doctor of Chiropractic) who graduated in 1994 from the prestigious school of chiropractic – CMMC. After four years of studying hard, the Doctor established his own practice in North-East Canada. The clinic has gone on to become one of the biggest chiropractic clinics in North East Canada. After spending ten years honing his skills whilst practising in Canada, Dr Allard moved to England and founded Proback in 2007, opening the initial clinic in Surbiton. Dr Christian developed and built the clinic and the business from the ground up, opening an additional clinic in Victoria and then in July of 2017 opened the London City Clinic.
Dr Allard is one of a very small number of Sigma certified instructors in Europe and is qualified in Radial Shockwave Therapy, Spinal Decompression Therapy and K-Laser Therapy. Over his years as a chiropractor he has trained and personally coached over fifteen different chiropractors who have each gone on to be achieve success in their field.
Christian and his team aim to establish Proback as a national franchise and are in the process of doing so. The aims for the future of the London City Clinic and for Dr Christian Allard’s chiropractic career are to stay on the cutting edge of treatment and the technology with which to do so.
Born and raised in North London, I originally trained as an Optometrist and have a First class Bsc Hons in Optometry from Aston University. After 18 yrs in practice I decided to retire from my chosen career. My beautiful twin girls had just started school and drop offs and pick ups became difficult with two working parents. I decided to retrain as a personal trainer and once qualified I instructed fitness classes for the mums at the girls school.
As my background is medical I know the importance of education to help people understand the reason they need to eat well and exercise if they are going to make this a permanent change to their lifestyle. I gave educational talks after each workout on a variety of health and fitness topics. After a year, Chris asked me to join the business to bring my interpersonal and medical skills to Proback. And I can honestly say I have never looked back!!
I am passionate about customer service and the journey our patients experience within the clinic. I want it to feel like a safe and fun place to heal and get healthy. Luckily I was able to transfer my 18 years of working in practice, and the interpersonal skills I developed as a practitioner to be able to help make Proback Victoria a clinic I am truly proud of along with my amazing team.

Sports has always been part of my life and passion from a very young age playing and watching, sports such as Football, Basketball, Tennis, Snowboarding, Cycling, and many more, as well as being an active gym-goer. Being involved in sports my whole life, I’ve seen and had some bad injuries myself so I’ve seen firsthand how Sports Therapists and Physio’s can help people so much and now I want to use my skills and passion to help others the way I’ve been helped.

I graduated from Middlesex University with a Sports and Exercise and Sports Rehabilitation degree. Higher education has facilitated me with new skills, increasing my determination and further allowing me to focus on my future career path. During my time as an undergraduate, I worked as a personal trainer, facilitating clients’ health and fitness goals.
In the meantime, the next step I took was throughout my rehabilitation degree I got involved in observing and assisting a private physiotherapist where I helped with some of the treatments using electrotherapy, laser, massage, ultrasound, exercise referral, and supporting the assessment of patients, that I carried on for the next year after graduating.
Have also spent time in hydrotherapy where I learned and completed treatments that gave me a wider understanding of another side of the rehabilitation world. The ability and knowledge I have managed to acquire have made me confident with future patients.
