Radial Shockwave Therapy

When the spine is out of alignment, your body isn’t able to function as effectively and pressure can build up in certain areas. This leads to an increased risk of injuries from nerve pressure, muscle strains or disc problems.  If you detect early on when when your spine is out of alignment, when the problem is less serious,  and begin treatment it can prevent a much bigger problem in the long term.

Our shockwave therapy machine allows us to treat a multitude of problems from spinal misalignments, joint stiffness and muscular stiffness to strains in a gentle, safe and effective way.

How does our shockwave therapy work?

Our shockwave therapy machine is used to help diagnose and treat a multitude of conditions.  It works by an ultra precise sensor detecting areas on each vertebra that have an increased resistance. A reading then returns back to the instrument and helps us to effectively evaluate the alignment of each of the vertebra. This tells us where the misalignments are located and allows us to treat them.

Once an affected area has been identified, a light tapping force (percussion) is applied to stimulate the blood flow, which will encourage healing, break down scar tissue which may have built up and help to restore the normal function. In time, movement will improve, while allowing for increased blood flow and circulation in the area, which will help the injury heal.
